As a designer nothing quite beats walking into your local bookstore, or checking the post, and opening up a magazine or newspaper (Remember those things?) to see your hard work staring back up at you! Part of you is sick and tired of the damn thing, sure—months of long hours, meetings, presentations, good ideas, bad ideas, revisions, edits, stumbles here and there—but there it is. Finally. The pessimist in you is still proofing the damn thing (Please, Lord, no.), but the kid in you (O.K., the adult too) can't help but smile...

The selected samples shown here appeared in domestic and international media, including magazines (Time, Fortune, Japan's President, Toyokeizai, etc.) and newsprint (Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Japan's Nikkei Veritas, etc.).
